Counsellor Directory

This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description

Many people who come to my practice are thoughtful, caring, and deeply feeling individuals. While they may appear to be managing life well on the outside, they often feel unsettled, disconnected from themselves, or weighed down by self-doubt. You may have spent years caring for others, adapting to expectations, or striving to do the “right” thing, only to find yourself questioning your worth, your voice, or the direction of your life.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. Rather than focusing on fixing you, I work alongside you to explore your experiences, relationships, and emotional patterns with curiosity and care. Together, we create a safe environment where every part of you is welcome—your strengths, struggles, questions, and hopes.

Many clients come to therapy seeking meaningful change. They want to feel more at ease within themselves, trust their instincts, set healthier boundaries, and build more authentic and supportive relationships. Our work often includes understanding how past experiences may continue to influence the way you see yourself and move through the world today.

My practice is trauma-informed, person-centred, and grounded in evidence-based approaches. Above all, I believe that healing and growth happen through a strong therapeutic relationship—one where you feel seen, understood, and supported.

Originally from Brazil and living in Canada for over a decade, my own journey of healing and self-discovery has shaped the way I hold space for others. I believe that when we relate to ourselves with greater compassion and curiosity, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.
